Fox to Seattle

Description
Nill will never do it, but I really do think it solves some issues. Comeau and Dickie have solid chemistry. Coleman is a stud. I think that line is better than Dickie-Fox-Comeau and we don’t have to bribe Seattle to not take Dickie. I give you the new DCC line. Lol

That's an expensive 4th liner (Coleman). If we're signing Coleman, I don't mind this contract, but I have him in the top-9. I'd swap him and Dellandrea in this circumstance.

Thought process is the DCC line would see heavy minutes just like the FCC line did while having three other scoring lines

Faksa, Comeau, and Cogliano were this past years “fourth line” and they played 20 mins per night. Honestly you could move that fourth line up to the first or second line as those guys will probably play as much as Seguin, JRob, Hintz, etc under Bones

Comeau shouldn’t play over 14 minutes per game. He’s at the end of his career they shouldn’t be using him willy nilly like they did this year. He won’t get any better at this point of his career.

Faksa is the definition of a perfect 3C, you shouldn't lose him for nothing

I mostly agree but you just cannot play Dell on the 4th line

Sure you can. At his price & given the very limited NHL experience he has, a full-time role on the 4th line is a fine starting spot for him to be in. I'd rather have him on the 4th line 100% of the time than yo-yoing between the AHL & the 2nd line at the NHL level. He proves himself, or if there are injuries, and he can move up the lineup.

In this specific ACGM, Dellandrea on the 2nd & Coleman in the top-6/9 is essentially a "must" to start the season.
