Kings likely aren't going to be a playoff team next season either. They do want a top LHD, but not one that will be a UFA in 12 months. There's really no reason for them to look at Rielly at all. I'd consider it for two 2nd round picks (same return as Martinez). Then if he walks, it still stings a bit, but at least the Kings didn't give up a key piece of their future.
