that Liljegren trade is awful for the leafs he might not be as good of a prospect anymore but he still has a decent amount of value and you guys are way overpaying for Robert Thomas and way underpaying Driedger no way he would take that contract

Blues say no. They won't trade Thomas for a 3c a low first, and a 4th line scrub. The only way they trade Thomas is part of a package for true 1c (or severely upgraded winger).

They're not making the Thomas deal worthwhile for the Blues and I will slightly overpaying on the bridge deal.
Do agree though that no way Driedger signs that and Simmonds is getting double what's he worth. He deserves 750k max.
