that price tag on Sorokin is a little steep in my opinion

With how well Pelech has played this year, I would think his price tag would be higher.

Anderson is not signing for less money than he makes now nor should he. He may not be an elite goalie but he is still a very very good goalie

for sure, but he has been very good this year and I think it's worth the risk to sign him through the rest of his prime. He has the potential to be a top 5 G, I'd rather take this risk than sign him for a year or 2 and have to pay him 8 mill+ on a long term deal

he'll be in the 5.5-6 mill range, he doesn't put up enough points to get more than that. Brodin is a good comparable

he had below a .900 sv% and has had 2 straight down years - he's not getting 5 mill from anyone. His best bet is signing a 1 year deal with a team who can boost his numbers and then he cash in next offseason

He is - brodin has been a top 20-25 defenseman over the last 3 seasons. He also puts up more points than pelech. Isles beat writer interviewed agents/executives around the league and the general consensus is he’ll get between 5-6 mill.
