    That's a massively backloaded contract for someone who didn't even score ½ a point per game this season.

    If I was Yzerman I'd say no to this.

    I'd consider taking on Johnson but I'd want a couple of waiver exempt prospects to go with him. Two of Goncalves, Finley, Ryfors, Alnefelt and perhaps a 2nd or 3rd for future considerations.

    no they aren't 5 mil and giving away an under min contract on a productive player BAD move 1
    giving 2 really young cost controlled assets to NJ BAD move 2
    not prtotecting Cernak BAD move 3 using cirelli as cap fodder BAD move 4 over reaching for Coleman BAD move 5
