How did Yak go from being worth an ECHLer and a 3rd to an NHL defenseman and a 2nd while still playing the same way?

there is NO CHANCE the blues and hawks swing a trade. and even as a blues fan no way stan gives up TVR for Yak and watch VR become a good dman to burn him for years.

Vastly overvaluing Yak there. And undervaluing Shattenkirk. I think STL can do much better.
