What more do you think the canucks could add or change. I feel they'd like to hang into the 1st rd this year. But maybe 2 1sts then..or a prospect, maybe juolevi or gadjovich..Lind.. lockwood

Don't ask for the 3rd coming back. The rumored price being discussed is:
1) a high-end blue-chip "future core" level prospect (or the pick equivalent), and
2) a good prospect likely to be a decent NHL contributor going forward (or the pick equivalent), and
3) an additional pick as a sweetener (like, a 2nd or so).

The Canucks' 2022 1st might satisfy one of #1 or #2; it kind of depends on where they're expected to finish next year and I'm uncertain there. Schmidt is a nice extra, but he's not really a substitute for the core necessities.
