I think this is the most realistic ducks trade but i dont know if i can stomach Gibson for six years.

the are not giving away players for nothing. "Losing a player to XD cant be avoided so they arent trading Graves, and compher isnt a negative value player so they aren't giving him away either

I don’t even want to touch Gibson, let alone him be a major piece in the Eichel deal. He has declined significantly. Last year he was 39th in save percentage. Yes he was on a bad team, but Ullmark did significantly better on a worse team. I want nothing to do with that contract, he has been around .904 % and 3.00 GAA the last 2 years, definitely not worth the risk he doesn’t get better again when he’s on a 6 year deal.

You may be right. I suspect though that I don't need to remind you that the Avs have $25 million in cap space and need to re-sign Makar and Landeskog and find a Stanley Cup capable goalie. They also have 3 draft picks in 2021. Something has to give. Maybe the value isn't quite there in my proposal. The Avs will need to move someone other than whomever they lose in the XD.

And they will cross that bridge if they need to after XD.
