Salary Cap Mode: Basic

Description

Take Johnson from Colorado so they don't have to protect him and get some cap relief to sign Landeskog and Makar. Get a first rounder + Nichushkin for the privilege

Add LTIR players on first day of the regular season. Sign RFA players at that time to maximize cap flexibility

Avs would likely prefer to lose Graves over Nichushkin. If we were talking about a prospect instead of Nichuskin, then yeah, there's probably a match there

Doesn't have to be Nichuskin. Was just looking for cap relief for Colorado since Makar and Landeskog both need new deals. The central idea is to get rid of EJ for cap and expansion draft purposes, especially given what I see below.

I've heard they've looked into it. Doesn't mean it'll happen, but it sounds like they're doing their due diligence.
