Description
Take Johnson from Colorado so they don't have to protect him and get some cap relief to sign Landeskog and Makar. Get a first rounder + Nichushkin for the privilege

Add LTIR players on first day of the regular season. Sign RFA players at that time to maximize cap flexibility

    Avs would likely prefer to lose Graves over Nichushkin. If we were talking about a prospect instead of Nichuskin, then yeah, there's probably a match there

    I've heard they've looked into it. Doesn't mean it'll happen, but it sounds like they're doing their due diligence.

    If EJ's hit is gone, then the world of possibilities expands astronomically. You wouldn't need to move anything else out as with his deal off the books in pairing with one of Compher, Graves, or Donskoi, you've opened up roughly $10 million on top of their expiring deals this year.
