Since you asked me to take a look at this trade I am more than happy to give you my opinion though I am sure I will be wrong as I most always am wrong.... here goes:

Drouin - do not want any part of him as part of the Sabres Rebuild Edition 76..... so I strike him immediately.... I can not bring a player whose effort and desire have previously been question no matter how many years it was......

Primeau - yes the Sabres need goaltending for the NHL and the minors but I would not want this goalie in the deal instead I would want Montreal to send another FUTURE player

Guhle - I LOVE this kid's game.... the issue for the Sabres is that they have a glut of LD..... with moving on from Risto the need is a RD

Romanov - He probably works better for me as he can play both Left as well as Right side.....

Here is what I would want from Montreal in the form of an Eichel Deal:

It starts with KOTKANIEMI.... he is a must for me..... I would have said Caufield but I do not think Montreal would consider moving him.... Romanov, Cameron Hillis & Montreal's 1st Round Pick in 2022.

The Sabres send Eichel, Sebastian Dea & Montreal 3rd Round Pick in 2021 (allows Montreal to offer sheet).

Summary:

Eichel, Dea & Montreal 3rd Round Pick 2021

for

Kotkaniemi, Romanov, Hillis & Montreal 1st Round in 2022

I agree 👍 drouin does nothing for me. That's like Tatar a year ago being offered. I think ur right kotkaniemi or nobody going to like this. Caulfield has to be involved

It holds zero relevance if you want Drouin or not... The salary cap still exists Montréal has to move money out. Also Buffalo fundamentality sucks on so many levels... They need actual bodies as much as they need the talent.
