I had this discussion with someone else on here. I think Jake for Tkachuk is a fair deal if that happens and both sides could argue that the other team needs to add more, albeit marginally more.

Argument for the Pens to add: Matt is younger
Argument for the Flames to add: Jake is better and signed to great contract/cap hit.

I think if CGY is going to retain that much the Pens are going to have seriously add to that trade.

How much do you think the pens would have to add since it is only 1 year of retention?

That retention is worth a midround 1st by itself.
