Anaheim deal depends entirely on what you think of Gibson's last 2 years.

No idea how to feel about the Kings deal so it's probably pretty spot on.

Subban deal would be fun but probably better off just dealing Risto 50% retained somewhere for a 2nd or 3rd and later pick.

My thinking on the Subban deal is that they can retain half on him and hopefully get a 1 for him at the deadline

Just pick 1 of Gibson or Henrique. Too much money coming back.

Ok, makes more sense. Big gamble though. Would have to hope he looks quite a bit better in Buffalo than he did in NJ (which he very well could).

Oh, I can think of at least 2 GMs who would sign up for that tandem:

Gibson . . . . 9-19-7 . . . . . 2.98 . . . . . 0.903
Quick . . . . . 11-9-2 . . . . . 2.86 . . . . . 0.898
Elliott . . . . . 15-9-2 . . . . . 3.06 . . . . . 0.889
Hart . . . . . . 9-11-5 . . . . . 3.67 . . . . . 0.877
Hutton . . . 1-10-1 . . . . . 3.47 . . . . . 0.886
Tokarski . . 2-8-2 . . . . . . 3.54 . . . . . 0.904

Linus Ullmark decides to go professional next year, you guys are toast.

Tokarski with a higher save % than Gibson & Quick lol.

Not good when a guy who played his first NHL game in 5 years plays better than you on the worst team in the league. And one's making 6.4M and the other 5.8M. Not good.

Good luck with him as your #1 next year, then, playing a full load of 45 games.
