        Just like the Sabres, the Devils need to reach the cap floor so salary doesn't mean anything.

        Subban is still better than Risto

        After July 28, Subban is paid about 1/3 what Risto would be paid.
        So for two teams more concerned about hit cap floor than cap ceiling, Subban is cheaper way to get to floor in real dollars.

        Risto and Okposo going to Devils. Sorry man, you must've forgotten to add 1st OA going to the Devils as well. Trade doesn't make sense otherwise.
