Why he doesn't want to hoist lord Stanley

I guess not

He rather waste his career on a team with an overrated future

you win a cup in an Original Six market you are a legend. You win a cup in Tampa you're just a champion. Believe it or not there is a difference

Gretzky and Lemieux not legends? Broduer? Jagr? Crosby? Ovi?
Your bias is showing. How about writing your own legend rather than piggybacking off someone else's?

My point can be summed up in this one example. NO on views the 2006 Carolina hurricanes as a legendary run. Everyone thinks of the 94 rangers team as a legendary run. Same as the 93 Canadians and the 2011 Bruins. I just think hockey is more appreciated in its historical markets

2012 LA Kings was a legendary run.
2009 Penguins
The Penguins back to back cups is only going to grow in status as the years go on.
Gretzky Era Edmonton Oilers.
The New York Islanders of the early 80s.

You're being very selective with your picks.

Sorry dude but the small market runs just aren't as magical (unless your a fan of the team) as the big market runs are.

Again. Your bias. And that's ok. You like what you like.
LAs 2012 run was glorious. The 2009 Penguins win was epic. Both were infinitely more epic and magical than the 2011 Bruins.

Sakic handing the cup to Ray Bourque wasn't magical or legendary? The entire hockey world still talks about it.

Ill give you that Colorado moment. absolutely legendary. God I love hockey. Also if ur a lightning fan I envy you. Im a ranger fan born in '98 and haven't yet witnessed a cup. Ill imagine it will be one of the best moments of my life.

Oh man. Would've been frustrating to be a Rangers fan through the Lundqvist era. So close but so far.

I know dude. Such a class act and professional. Could never ever question his compete level or heart (which is something that I question alot with the current rangers). Really a generational player and person. So frustrating man. Maybe with this new core we could get a cup
