Because trades like these don't happen, the islanders have players they just arent taking 7 castaways for a high prospect

lazar and wagner would play on the 4th line and have proved to be competent players they also get Coyle again who fits into their lines so basically they take a downgrade on their 4th line get coyle who would be great for them on either center or wing and get some C teir prospects who could turn to be something they also get more picks imo the isles win that trade lmao

The Tkachuk rumor is completely baseless Shane O'Brien has zero credibility as an insider

Boston doesn't have the assets to land Tkachuk

I mean they do, they're just not assets that they'd be willing to move.

tbh idk assuming boston makes all those moves before the expansion draft and waits to sign people afterwards I think seattle takes a ahl player as boston will have no assets to take

Well that was assumed.

Rule of thumb is if you wouldn't trade McAvoy for it, it's not going to get Tkachuk

where are the good prospects? the bruins have exactly one good prospect and he’s not in the trade, so you’re either delusional enough to think lauzon and clifton actually have any value to calgary or trying to convince people that don’t know any better that mediocre players have any sort of upside

The Islanders shouldn't trade Wahlstrom and especially not for Coyle.

Ok isles counter with vande sompel, wotherspoon, adams, hutton, and hickey bc he fits bostons need of a dman just as good as coyle fits the islanders, for beecher.
