    Canes pass yeah... but do they really need RD more than LD? Honka and Fensore look really promising. I know Honka is a righty, I'm not too sure on Fensore right now because it's 10 AM and I haven't slept.

    If the character issues with DeAngelo are accurate, then I can't see many teams trading for him.

    It would actually be cheaper for the Rangers to buyout Deangelo ($383,334 + $883,334) than to retain $2,400,000.

    I like where you are thinking as far as the Trent Frederic trade. That might not necessarily be the deal to get it done but Frederic is exactly the type of bottom 6 player the Rangers need. The kid plays with an attitude and has some skill to boot, and he is young. I love Fil Chytil but if he doesnt toughen up he is getting dealt. Gallant is not going to put up with that soft hockey playing in the bottom 6.

    They look promising sure, but Keane is the only RD prospect close to NHL ready. The others need at least a year I think.
