XCGY and PHI both decline...

Tkachuk IMO is more valuable than Marner and Mangiapane is more valuable than Kerfoot. (Kerfoot has just 51 pts in last 2 years and at 3.5mil is not worth it)

PHI is in need of a defensive RD, not a LD puck rusher/pt producer. PHI has Provorov, Sanheim, Cam York, Ghost all at LD, with puck movers Zamula, Hogberg and Millman (all rookies) in AHL.

Reilly has value, but probably not to PHI.

And I doubt Foligno, Dermott, Gally sign for SO low.

Rielly>Sanheim Marner> Tkachuk Mangiapane>Kerfoot is how i view it, tkachuk isnt more valuable than marner imo, no reason to suggest that other than physicality, marner is better at everything else lmfao

Tkachuk is a better two way player, and Marner's showing in the playoffs (and his contract) work against him. Other than pts, Tkachuk is the far better player. Its also the very type of game that TOR lacks, that gives Tkachuk equal status to Marners offensive ability. Sanheim's age and contract status brings him closer to Reilly IMO, but if thats the way you view it, thats the way you view it

Flames decline
Tkachuk = Marner
Mangiapane >>> Kerfoot

Philly doesn't need more offensive LD either, especially a rental for a similar caliber player locked up long term

Mitch Marner playoff career: 25 pts in 32 games.
Matthew Tkachuk playoff career: 5 pts in 15 games.

Mitch Marner's alledged playoff failures are greatly overstated.

Tkachuk contract works against him more than Marner. His QO is over 9 and he can go to arbitration and walk to UFA

I don't understand this obsession of Konecny for Rielly, it's not happening. It's been explained on EVERY AGM post that proposes it and makes zero sense for the Flyers.

I think manner is definitely better than Tkachuk. Tkachuk had 9.2 minutes of penalty killing this year and Marner had 107 minutes. You also can't really, say other then points, because that's the hardest thing to do. I know the contract works against him but Marner was top 5 in points and 10th in selke voting

Yes and it showed in the playoffs

Cant escape that TOR added Foligno/Nash/Simmonds/even Thornton and others because they lack grit and physicality. If TOR wants to address it gioing forward, instead of moving deck chairs around the titanic, you make a meaningful change.

CGY wants to move Tkachuk less than TOR wants to move Marner. Is Marner the better player, yes, but is Tkachuk more of the player TOR needs, I think yes.

You'll never get a marner for a marner, but tkachuk and almost 4mil in cap space to make a run next year, that to me is a pretty even swap.

CGY probably doesn;t want much else that TOR has, so they have to add something of value TO CGY.
