So you want a 1OA and a 2OA that are NHL proven from day one and you won't include a 2OA that's played 6 NHL games...don't think so!!!

But Hall had a M-NTC so he had his choice where he would accept a trade to....he didn't have that option when with EDM. The Sabres had a better offer from a western team but Hall refused to waive. Hall almost signed with Boston before getting 8mil from Buffalo and getting the M-NTC got him there in the end.

Oilers made game 7 of the 2nd round after trading for Larsson, remind me how far the Sabres got after signing Hall as a UFA?

And you got there bc of Larsson? dude be real these two teams are mirrors of each other for all the times they've drafted near or at the top they are no where close to where they should be. Both have never surrounded their superstars with a supporting cast. Edm played in a watered down division this year...do you think they make the playoffs if they were in the east? Would they have finished ahead of the Sabres yes but otherwise they would have gone nowhere. Show me smart moves they've made bc I can't find any.

I'm not defending the Sabre's as being smart, they probably have the dumbest owners in the league who commit the same mistakes over and over and expect different results. All I'm saying is Edm is no better in making smart moves to help McDavid and Draisaitl. Two of the top players in the whole league and in the end they're being wasted. Sooner or later you just might be facing what Buffalo is with Eichel and Reinhart.

You’re comparing a Camaro with engine issues to a Camry with engine issues, one is significantly better than the other but both have the same problem
