Why not offer 10 7th round picks? 10 pieces is more than 6 pieces

They made the rules, I'm just pointing out that it can be done, lol.

White is a top6 centre and under 25 (2015 1st round pick 21st overall)
Brannstrom is a top4 D and under 25 (2017 1st round pick 15th overall)
2021 10th overall pick
2019 1st round pick (19 overall) Thomson
2020 2nd round pick (33 overall) Jarventie
2015 7th round pick (199 overall) Daccord

That's four firsts, a very early second, and a goalie prospect

On paper it looks fine, lol

I actually think it's a solid deal. White is not a legit top-six, but that's irrelevant to the deal. He's a serviceable player to be a placeholder. The rest are nice prospects plus the 10th overall. Better deal than I think the Sabres ultimately get in reality.

White can produce better numbers with better wingers, he keeps getting linemates like Nick Paul, a very good player but not on the ice for his offence. There's no reason White can't put up 40+ points in a more offensive role.

I'd swap out Daccord for a different goalie prospect if I needed to, but Daccord is pretty solid. I wouldn't include Sogaard though.

Daccord is a throw-in, but Brannstrom, Thomson and Jerventie are all very nice as well as a 10th overall pick.

White won't have good wingers in BUF so it doesn't really matter lol.

I think Pinto would have to be in any deal for Eichel. I know you are following a template, but other teams will also be following this template with much more enticing deals. I also don't think it's wise for OTT to move Brannstrom. With what you gave to get him, it'd not be wise to sell him when his value is low. His potential can still be reached if he is developed right, but no team will view him as high value as the Sens do.

I came back to this ACGM to refresh my memory on the Eichel trade, and actually looked at the four players you mentioned
Okposo - 33 years old
Sheahan - 29 years old
Girgensons 27 years old
Eakin 3rd round pick in 2009

Yeah, that's the same basics of the trade I proposed, lol
