Every fan base over values every there players. see above Roope Hintz

But a fair deal is Zegras, 3rd overall, Henrique (Cap Dump) and some other mehh pick or prospect

Good as a TB fan I can say don't want or need him really

Thanks for the suggestion l. Have seen plenty of there games.
But that’s trade is extremely weak!

A 25 year old who’s never scored 20 goals.
27 year old d man with a big contract
A middle 1st round pick
And a mehhh prospect

Not saying it's enough, but you're certainly misinformed if you think the package is "extremely weak"

The guy has played two full seasons in the NHL, both cutted down in games for reason he could do nothing about. Had 2019-20 and 2020-21 campaigns been at full length, he was in pace to score 26 and 30 goals respectively in both seasons. For the record, both of those numbers exceed the amount of goals Eichel was able to score during his two first years, although he was younger than Hintz was during that time.

That 27 year old D-man is a solid shutdown D that Buffalo currently has a grand total of 0. He has term and as explained in the article, would most likely fit in the first pair in Buffalo, provided Dahlin could play right side. I don't know about his ability to do that though.

I wouldn't call Bourque a meh prospect. Imo he has quite good potential in him, but given he's only 19 it's far too early to tell. I could say that he'd be the best C prospect of Buffalo outside their NHL core at the moment - in other words, a valuable asset.

In general I understand that moving a franchise level asset for anything will sound like a loss to you, as it probably does with every trade of that kind, but you gotta watch the big picture, not just nitpick about some unnecessary details like "hE's ClOsE tO 25" or "hAsN't MaNaGeD tO sCoRe 20 GoAlS a SeAsOn YeT" when we both know that narrative is extremely lacking.

There’s a zero percent chance of Eichel traded in the Atlantic division

Disagree if the right deal comes from an Atlantic division team they pull the trigger. It'd have be a serious premium

Right, which doesn't make my point any less valid.

He did it in 41 games of a condensed schedule that was even more condensed for DAL due to a late start all while injured. But sure good point.

No Atlantic division team really has the assets outside of Tampa, with Cirelli, but he hasn’t been the same since the 19-20 season before the bubble.

Thinking “Buzz’s Girlfriend .... WOOF! “.
If this is an actual offer would need at least 2 more 1st round picks and like an actual prospect

Hintz was a PPG player playing top line center minutes. Lindell plays heavy top line minutes. Bourque was a first round pick and has very strong up side. Two more first round picks? Lmao

Don’t get me wrong, Hintz is good, as Lindell, but they aren’t the sort of pieces a team like Buffalo would be looking for IMO. I’d think Dellandrea would be a real interesting piece for Buffalo.

Lindell’s NMC might make trading him challenging, but does Dallas have the cap space with Miro needing a new deal soon?

Bourque has a higher ceiling than Dellandrea imo. And Lindell’s NMC isn’t in effect yet

I certainly wasn’t suggesting Dellandrea instead of Hintz, rather adding Dellandrea to the trade

41 games injured and still put up those numbers.
I think I got every one.
Frist, thank you all for your comments.
Second, Buffalo will not get as much as Buffalo fans think they will get for Eichel, this may be their best offer.
Third, I think Ristolainen and Reinhart will be traded.
Fourth, I do not know what Buffalo will get for Sam and Rasmus, but Lindell, Hintz and Bourque are players that fill the spots opened by trading them, LHD, center and RW.
Finally, I sort of think that it may not be a rebuild (I mean only teams that were successful at one time rebuild) as much as a retool.
The line up may not be this exactly as the coaches will put the players where they wish:
Skinner Hintz Quinn
Olofsson Cozens Bourque (he and Quinn may be ready next year)
Asplund Mittelstadt Thompson
Bjork Girgensons Okposo
Ruotsalainen

Dahlin Miller
Lindell Jokiharju
McCabe Borgen
Bryson/Samuelsson

With six or more picks in the first two rounds this year (additional picks coming from the Reinhart and Ristolainen trades) Buffalo could restock the prospect pool.
If Cozens can grow while Mittelstadt, Asplund and Thompson continue to gel they could still ice a respectable team.
