That leafs trade made me laugh out loud. So we are trading a 2nd and a top 4 D on a cheap contract for a 4th liner?

i have seen holl going to seattle in A LOT of leafs acgm or holl for a late pick so i figured zar for holl was better than those moves

Not just a fourth liner. A producing fourth liner. Look up his stats. Solid Penalty killer as well.

He is better than every third liner the leafs had in the playoffs. Produced more than Holl in less games in the playoffs

AND Aston-Reese is better defensively than Holl. aston-Reese plays every PK stopping so many pucks and scoring a couple of shorthanded goals. He has more shorthanded points and goals than Holl

the way i see it is zar offers extremely reliable play on both ends which is something the leafs can add
