What would you be comfortable giving up to send Fleury to Chicago in exchange for Strome?

Unfortunately for us, we'd likely have to do more than that. Martinez was very arguably our best defenseman this year. He lead the league in blocked shots. He's worth at least 6 million. If he resigns, it'll be at least for the 4 million he came with(and that's if he likes it in Vegas so much that he'd take a discount), which we cannot afford without moving a piece. I do think it'll be a "trim the edges" type of off-season for us though. No big changes.

AM turns 34 in July so if he gets $5 m plus in a flat cap world then it’s like 1-3 years max. I say 2 at $4-5 m is the most I’d consider. What are the chances he repeats that performance at that age? Someone will fork out that kind of dough but good for them.

Then I’d just keep Fleury. He is nominated for the Vezina. The only team he really wants to go to is Pittsburgh and Vegas would have to RS because the Pens don’t have cap space. So I’d keep him.
