why do peole undervalue debrusk so much he had one bad year due to covid and a breakup that trade is a slight overpay imo

ekholm is 31 and nashville needs a retool to get younger they get a 30 goal scorer and 2 2nds for a 31 year old who would prolly walk later on anyway if anything boston is overpaying

For a rental it’s not crazy. Even with the pile of dog crap season debrusk just turned in, he’s played at a 22goal per 82 pace over the course of his career. He didn’t have his legs this year. Maybe that was because there was no pre season and a weird off season? Maybe it wasn’t. I could definitely see the preds thinking they’re buying low and he’ll return to form. That said i think they get better offers.
