Just hopping in here to say the sabres are not trading future captain Dylan Cozens...especially for that package.

    Chytil *and* Lundkvist

    😳

Everyone falls in love with their prospects yeesh 🙄

Again: not just Chytil but also Lundkvist

Niks Lundkvist just put up two straight historically good seasons in the SHL and he isn't 21 yet and Chytil's age 19 NHL season was similar to Cozens's

I will wager you 100 imaginary internet dollars that Nils Lundkvist has a better career than Dylan Cozens 🤝 not by a huge margin but demonstrably so

Nils should be getting fringe Norris votes

While Cozrens gets selke votes at best

listen, it's fine that you just looked at a few statistics and tried to put a fair trade together. I don't blame you for that; but as someone who watched this dumpster fire (sabres) all year...there is no way the sabres would make this deal. Cozens is legit the future captain of the team and short of some stupid offer from nyr, there is no way he gets moved.

Just a little hyperbolic, but there is some truth to your comment.
Unlike other Sabre fans, I am looking at TWO solid prospects and a decent NHL center for an unproven highly regarded prospect.
I may regret it, but I would make that trade, especially if Eichel was traded away for only prospects and picks.
If Strome could produce as a Sabre as well as he did the last two seasons, I am certain there would be many suiters at the TDL.
I wonder how a line of Skinner Strome Jack Quinn would perform
A second line of Olofsson Chytil Thompson
Third line of Asplund Mittelstadt ????
I think Buffalo is in line for a huge make over.
I always had Cozens in the future line up, but this trade is intriguing.
