Solid "pest" player. He definitely fits well on the Bruins to say the least. Nice to see him get some real money. With this contract, I'm expecting to see Frederic become a full time lineup player with the Bruins. Good signing all around.

probs going to Seattle as hes eligible. Can be the Marchand of that team
Seems like a tad to much for a guy who has only really proven himself as a s**t disturber lol
League min is US$700K and rookies just entering the league are signing for about US$900K currently...
It's the exact dollar scale or amount he gets/deserves - a US$125K raise; solid.
Bro who gave the talking stick to maple leafs fan. Stop talking
for a guy who's name is a team that lost in the final four times in a row, you'd think you'd have a little more humility in cheering for an embarrassment.
I cant see how hes not exposed rn Bruins probs going
Marchand
Pasta
Bergeron
Coyle
Smith
Debrusk
Ritchie
Gryzlyk
Mcavoy
Carlo
Vladar
I have Frederic being protected over Ritchie. Ritchie is coming off his best career P/GP which put him at a pace of roughly 37 points. Started out great and reverted back to old Ritchie as the season went on, eventually being a guy that should have been scratched in the playoffs. He's got a $2 million QO and if DeBrusk is here he needs to play LW. That means Ritchie needs to go to 4LW and at that point Freddy can play Ritchies role for a fraction of the price.
Ritchie may also be enticing enough to SEA to not take Lauzon or one of Boston's other d-men.

Reminds me a lot of a mix between Barclay Goodrow and Matt Martin. An in your face player who can throw big hits and spark your team with a big win in the ring. I like his style of play and that contract is a steal.

yeah im thinking its either
Ritchie, Fredric, or Lauzon maybe Kase but he barely played so probs not.
people say Debrusk and to me thats a no
cause honestly Boston should protect him then trade him for value as we dont want to see another Florida situation happen again lul.

Ya I don't think Kase is an option. He most likely won't get a QO since it $2.6 million and that'll leave him a UFA. Seattle would be crazy to take him. I'm not ready to ship out DeBrusk as I think last year was a perfect storm of **** for him. I give him till the TDL before pulling the trigger. If he bounces back he's a hell of a 3rd liner to have and if he doesn't you swap him for another reclamation project.
Frederic's fancy stats and traditional stats are both pretty terrible. Still, he gets tough minutes, so perhaps he could pull a Colton Sissons and carve out a career as a defensive specialist that doesn't actually suck.

Just figured I'd point out league minimum is actually $750k starting in 21-22 (read: for any contracts being signed now).
