I think Sabres and Rangers say no.

I think this is a good offer, it in my opinion it would be a hard offer to beat.
My son and discussed an Eichel trade today as well as trading Reinhart and Ristolainen.
We both feel the Rangers make the best sense.
This trade is actually more than we thought the Sabres would get for Jack.
We thought the Rangers would want to (need to) shed cap to take on Jack's salary to included Trouba but left out Lundkvist.
If all three Sabres were traded then Kakko, essentially takes Sam spot in the line up, Chytil, takes Jack's and Trouba take Ristolainen.
The Sabres would deal Sam to Vancouver for picks and prospects and Ristolainen to Colorado for Kadri.
If I were the Sabre's GM and Drury offered this to me, I would take and drive Jack to the airport.
EDIT:
I forgot to add, the Rangers would have the cap space to go after another RHD in free agency Hamilton, Barrie, could be interested.
