Wings decline. They’ll trade Name for picks or lose him in the draft. Also, a bottom 6 forward is not worth a 3-4th rounder.

So Namestinky for a 6th or 7th rounder then. Since he's produced like a bottom 6 forward.

I understand they're stacked. What was I thinking.

It has nothing to do with being stacked, it has to do with adding more depth not making us any closer...

Detroit already have 9 waiver eligible wingers penned in for next year + Raymond and Berggren.

Why would they pay to take on yet another one? And a bottom-6 player at that, something they're not exactly short of.

So well get rid of our steadiest and most reliable D-man we've had in years for three picks and a 4th liner................ nice
also Hyman for 8 yeras is too much, 5 is good.

And explain how this improves the Wings. Mikheyev is a bottom six forward, which we have and Namestikov at least can play several positions, is signed for 1 year, and wants to be here, whereas Mikheyev is also signed for 1 year, but walks after next year.
