We don’t want Leddy back, not now at least.

If Ladd has had these back problems (2 years?) then why couldn't he have been placed on LTIR at the start of last season? He played 1 AHL game last season. Did he reaggrevate his back while sitting in the press box or hot tub? I can't wait to see what Loop hole Lou comes up with.

I think not having Lee hurt the Islanders in the end. you can only go so far without your top end talent. although, don't tell Montreal that

He may LTIRetire. Similar to Boychuk. Boychuk could play if the wanted too. But Lou put him on Robidas island.

One more cup run for Chicago’s Golden generation?

That was confusing. At first Lou said Boychuk had his eyelid stitched up and would be ready for next season. The next season comes and suddenly the story changes to Boychuk now being blind in the damaged eye forcing him to LTIRetire.

I'm well aware of Robidas Island. Lou invented that in Toronto. But I'm sure Devils fans will remember what Lou did to make Mogilny and Malakhov "go away." IIRC the NHL made Lou forfeit a 1st round pick in the Malakhov fiasco. He's Loop hole Lou for good reason.

Ladd going on LTIR would work though. Perhaps his knee is messed up again, or something. Maybe he got an injury while fishing.

Although I agree we shouldn't make that move however in saying that Stan could make a move like that. He's a rental, we get a earlier pick and then we can flick him on TDL for a better return again.
