Terry<<Tuch but it’s closer than people think. Terry’s 5v5 analytics are better than Tuch’s and if Terry’s finishing got better it be a drastic difference.

This was the most popular offer from VGK I saw in a Twitter thread. Just curious if people here thinks it better than a low offer from ANA.

Neither one of them is good enough. Kevyn Adams should not accept either of them as is anyway.

Honestly I’d want Tuch to play with Eichel

That’s mostly my point, VGK doesn’t have enough to get Eichel.

Trading for Eichel is tricky. You want Eichel because he’s so good but the price is so high that teams will have to give up players that affect the acquiring teams direction. That’s why I think teams should be after Reinhart. Quality player and probably around half the price of Eichel.

If Vegas could do Krebs, Glass , Hague and 2 1sts for Eichel. Then trade one of Fleury or Lehner for no cap and sign a cheap backup. That should be enough, if it’s not Reilly Smith could also be moved. Elvenes is close to NHL ready too

They have to replace Martinez too. Fleury has to be traded and cap going to BUF in an Eichel trade.

I haven’t done a deep dive but I know Janmark is UFA too. I’m not sure how many spots they have to replace but I’m pretty sure more than just Fleury have to be moved to fit Eichel.

Horrible idea. Absolutely horrible. Las Vegas has to send significant cap (preferably Reilly Smith or Alex Tuch) the other way in any Eichel trade just to limit the increase in cap taking Eichel on requires. A trade involving only ELCs would be suicidal for the Golden Knights because they can't re-sign Alex Martinez as it is without moving $5 million in cap. And giving away a front-line goalie for free and then signing a journeyman UFA defenseman in order to absorb Eichel just makes the strategy worse.

Vegas isn’t re-signing Martinez. There will be so many teams after him

Dangerous prediction. Nevada is a no-state-income-tax jurisdiction, and Martinez is more valuable to them than Reilly Smith, maybe even more valuable than Alex Tuch.

You have to realize that a Vegas first is a touch better then a high second which means a better player and prospect need to be included. Adams is looking for another high first so I would thick Tuch has to be included. There isn't another roster player that qualifies.

For MAF to be included he has to have assures that the Sabres flip him to Pitt or he doesn't waive

I wasn’t saying Fleury to BUF. Just in general Fleury will be traded. Overall the point of this post was that although Eichel to VGK makes sense they don’t have the pieces to get a trade done. To get it done they’d, in sense have to make a 3-team trade for on of their better players to then flip those pieces along with the pierces they already have.

The thing is if it's Pitt where he ends up Buffalo can hold cap (for the right price of course...lol) where plenty of teams can't. I guess that was my point but I didn't explain that my bad
