the current player from each team who I thinks number will be retired next

a couple, of these I went based off how long they had been with the team, buffalo doesn't have one for me in my opinion. also Arizona, Winnipeg, Florida and Columbus were hard for me. Ottawa was also a struggle

Jake Gardiner's number will never be retired. Aho/Slavin/Svechnikov are better options. Chabot in for Dadonov also.

For the rangers i would pick fox. Just seems like kreider has never been a top line guy

I dont think theres any way bailey gets retired. I think its 27 again if youre allowing that. With all the off the ice stuff after tavares left and the new arena plus his play on the ice i think it could happen.

Spurge is great. He's the new team captain and all, and maybe someday he should be if the right things happen.

But there is only one possibility from the Wild so far, and it's not either Parise or Suter.

It's the Kaptain. Mikko Koivu. He basically owns most if not all current records that matter for the franchise to date. Granted Kaprizov will probably blow past and destroy them all at some point. But for now, Koivu's the only one that comes close to consideration.

See why u chose Helle but Scheif is my guess

-1st ever pick since the franchise relocated to WPG
-Top center producing at at least ppg clip and great playoff producer
-Signed max term deal at a a steal of a contract
-Stated by the Jets organization that he’s the next captain
