Detroit would want 3rd overall for Zadina. Not sure if he’s worth it, but unless that was offered he’s not for trade. Rasmussen it’s hard to say, but I think we keep him as he’s developing slowly but is looking good

I agree but no one is going to give up that much for Zadina.

I don’t think so, the Ducks would be better off with an established NHLer at that price, but there isn’t much else Detroit would be interested in short of the untouchables in Zegras/Drysdale. Tough trading between rebuilding teams

For Patrick, I think someone’s gonna value him as a late 1st. Everyone’s trying to undervalue him because he struggled after missing the prior season. Granted, I don’t see a match with Anaheim, as I think he’s a piece in a bigger move, for say Seth Jones. If they strike out, and I was pressed, I think it’s half retained Manson or Rakell with some type of pic to balance it.

Zadina has much more value than the rest of the bunch who are all approaching bust territory if not already there. His stats may not be great but he's flashed good skill and has had to deal with some brutal linemates for most of his career so far

Nolan Patrick is a bad player with a bad attitude, you'd be lucky to get above a 3rd imo

Two almost identical 30 point seasons before losing a season to migraines and then coming back to have 9 points in 52 games. I dont think a single team in the league would give up a late first. But I do agree that it would make sense from a Philly perspective to move him as a piece in a larger trade. It would definitely help mask his value (or lack there of) as it would be more difficult to quantify his weight in a trade with other pieces involved.

Andersson was 5 picks after him, showed less but was shipped out for the 60th pick last year. We're a season later and Patrick is another year older but I could still see an early/mid second happening but philly trading him when his value is lowest wouldnt make a ton of sense.

2nd or 3rd for brown, or a similar upside prospect that has yet to reach his potential and needs a change of scenery (as long as they are a right shot forward)

I don’t think they move him unless it’s getting that kind of value. They’d ride it out another year. In those 30 point seasons, he flashed the potential with point per game stretches. When he was playing net front on the PP, you saw the skill. And he was defensively responsible. Issue he had this year was he was slow. Full offseason should help that. And considering the best player on the team was a big center that started in the NHL before his 20s that didn’t develop for 5 years, I doubt they’d pack it in for mediocre valuation.

If Logan Brown was being shipped out for draft picks, Ottawa would probably be looking for a late 2nd. Although Logan's been great in the AHL, I'm not sure if anyone would be willing to give that up given his injury history. A swap for another underperforming 1st from the last 3-5 years would be ideal.

Lol. If you say so. Contrary to popular belief, guys don’t always instantly develop. See Couturier, Sean. In fact if you compared their first two seasons, you’d be amazed by who performed better. Guess it’s a shame they didn’t move him for a 3rd when they had the chance.

Good Call on value ... but Moore is from Harvard. One Harvard guy on the team is enough already.

Jim Tortarella knows how to pick good d-men. Nothing wrong with Harvard.

Slow development would be fine, he's slowly regressing. Did you see him play this season? I watched every Flyers game. He was awful.

I watched every game as well. He looked slow and timid. Like he hadn’t played NHL or real hockey for over a year. Because he didn’t. I expected him to be bad. And get worse the longer the season went. And it happened. But you let him play through it because no one in the league thinks he’s not a NHL player and he has that upside still. Unfortunately that’s something the Flyers fanbase and brass don’t allow (outside of Hextall)
