Yeah, hence adding to the weakness of the division. Anaheim is another big contributor to the weakness of the division

You’re over a million short for Coleman. Hamonic is not willing to take a discount and Edler probably wants 2-3 million. I think it’s a bit overpay for Roussel trade cause worst case scenario they bury him

Yeah I kinda realized how much of an underpay for Coleman was, but Hamonic really isn’t worth that much, and Edler will likely only receive the 2-3 mil contract if he hits the free agency market. I would’ve taken these things more into mind, but forgot about the Seattle draft, and how that could help some of the cap out

The pacific division is gonna suck next year. It’s almost inevitable. There’s 2 teams that’ll be a lock for a playoff spot, Edmonton and Vegas. The rest will be mediocre, or downright terrible. The point of this armchair gm thing was to make Vancouver stand above San Jose, Calgary and LA

It’s understandable. Hamonic is probably not worth it if he wants more than 2-2.5 million. Hopefully the Sedins work something out for Edler to keep him for cheap.

I think Hamonic will take a deal to stay in Vancouver, he wants to play in western Canada and that's pretty much it. Unless the health concerns with his family have changed that I don't know about, that would be the reason. When I say a deal I mean like 2mill when he might be able to get 3+ playing in the states somewhere.

Hamonic has already said he isn’t limiting himself to western Canada anymore.
