Trade explanation

Buffalo has to take money back. Specifically if the reports are true that Eichel wants out as well as other key players.
To me this package may seem like an overpay for the Oilers but consider you are also getting a team to take on Neal's contract.
Holloway is a must - This is a center for center and frankly one of the Oilers biggest needs a RHC.
Yamamoto is a tough loss but a necessary loss.
I believe this trade is fair for both teams, both teams receive young talent and Buffalo receives players that have RFA status and UFA status.
Buffalo gets another huge 2023 draft pick.

There's always one bizarre trade that gets recycled by everyone on this site and rn it's Kassian to NYR *for an asset* 😶 even retained it's quite bizarre

The reason you keep hearing it is because reporters have mentioned it. This isn't something made up, this is coming from NY reporters, MSM reporters and Edmonton reporters and it's not just NY, it's PITT, It's PHI, It's CAR.
all have expressed interests in Kassian, who has had one bad year. since becoming an Oiler.
The guy is fast, can PK, and can play with talent, much like Maroon.
He has value even if you think he doesn't.

NYR got the ever living **** kicked out of them on a regular basis, are they just going to keep on letting that happen? specifically since Sather is back, or will they let Kreider continually run out as the teams tough guy until he's get lit up.

I personally don't like the OEL trade myself, but it makes sense given Klefbom's future and the fact the Oilers were in pursuit of OEL a couple years ago, given his name is out there I used that as my trade.

None of these trades are necessary my trades, but ones I've heard about from reliable sources.

None of these trades are necessary my trades, but ones I've heard about from reliable sources in the media.

I do however feel they are close to being what the actual cost might be plus or minus a player.
