NEW "ROSTER" PLAYERS BROUGHT IN ~ {Via : TRADE or UFA} :

1}- [UFA] ~ G- LINUS ULLMARK #25 (35) ~ {Signed - 1yr @ $2.6m Per} : Signed w/ opp. to be 1A or 1B on a better team. 6'-4"/ 215 huge Ullmark is a very underrated Goalie who's got better every year in NHL but stuck on bad team & could be a steal.

2}- [Trade] ~ C/RW- ADAM GAUDETTE #88 ~ {RFA Signed - 2yrs @ $975,k Per} : Big fan of the 6'-1"/ 195lb Gaudette, & still think he can still be a great bottom 6 C/RW or maybe a #3 future Center.

3}- [Trade] ~ RW/C- SAM REINHART #23 ~ {RFA Signed - 3yrs @ $5.75m Per} : To get a 25yr old Top winger in his hockey prime is so rare. IMO the 6'-1"/ 205lb RWer could be great here & plays RW exactly how Sid wants his wingers to play.

4}- [Trade] ~ RHD- RASMUS RISTOLAINEN #55 : This is the definition of what the Pens need, a 6'-4"/ 220lb D-man that will decapitate Forwards. Plus as a #4-#6, I bet he plays much better (Ceci).

5}- [UFA] ~ LHD- JAKE McCABE #9 ~ {UFA Signed - 1yr @ $1.25m Per} : The UFA steal of year, 6'-1"/ 205lb LHD is a very good Off. & Def. D-man stuck on bad team & always reminded me of a Penguin type Dman. Will be 100% healthy after ACL & missing yr.

6}- [Trade] ~ LW- LAWSON CROUSE #67 : The Pens land their 6'-4"/ 220lb physical LWer, at 23 is just entering his hockey prime & is already a good 2-way player & plays on Top PK.

7}- [UFA] ~ C- DEREK STEPAN #21 ~ {UFA Signed - 1yr @ $1.2m Per} : 71 out 1st month of season, Stepan, a perfect fit at 3C, being a 1C or 2C his entire career. Minor shoulder surgery, will be 100%.

8}- [Trade] ~ LW- MASON MARCHMENT #27 (19) : The 6'-4"/ 215lb physical 4th liner to #13 Forward would give Pens size to forward group, when needed.

9}- [UFA] ~ LHD- IAN COLE #28 : {UFA Signed - 1yr @ $1.1m Per} : At this point of career Cole would be a Perfect #7 & knows he would still get playing time here w/ our constant injuries.

NEW "PROSPECTS" ADDED {Via TRADE} :

1}- LW- Dylan HOLLOWAY #4 --------------------- 6'-1"/ 205lb 19yr old & My fav prospect last yr in Draft. Is a Faster more skilled Chris Kreider. As Soph. @ WIS - 23GP - 11G - 35P.
2}- C/RW- Mackenzie ENTWISTLE #44 ----------- 6'-3"/ 190lb 20yr old, Reminds me of a Pens Prospect, a great 2-way player & can play Center or RW. Is very close, played 5 NHL gms.
3}- LW/C- Jan JENIK #21 ----------------------------- 6'-1"/ 20yr old, former 3rd Rdr has had injury issues but if healthy is a legit Top 9 NHLer very soon.
4}- LHD- Dmitri SAMORUKOV #78 --------------- 6'-2"/ 190lb 22yr old former 3rd Rdr is a solid prospect that could be a #5 to #7 D-man in NHL in a cpl yrs.
5}- RW- Tyler BOUCHER ----------------------------- {21'- 2nd Rd pick} #44 [CHI] 6'-1"/ 205lb 18yr old Most Physical player in Draft but also very skilled.
6}- RHD- Logan MAILLOUX -------------------------- {21'- 2nd Rd pick} #58 [PIT] 6'-3" / 215lb 18yr old could be a Top 4 RHD-man

So Buffalo gets next to nothing for Reinhart and they have to retain half of Risto’s contract? I think not. Even if the deal did go through, add about $1.5 million to the contract you gave Reinhart and it’s closer.

EDM can't afford to do this.
They can't afford to give away Holloway and a 1st round pick.
Their fan base will kill them if they chase McDavid out of town.

He’s going to sign for more than $6 million guaranteed for a long-term deal. If you think otherwise you’re delusional.

      This is a mess

Don't offersheet guys at league minimum
Dont trade guys whose rights your team no longer owns.

Then it’s a good thing you got Guentzel to sign for less than market value. Sam Reinhart gets at least $6.5 million per season on his next multi year contract. I’ll be very surprised if it’s less than that.

That is a fair statement But as an organization.... I cant see us paying him more, maybe the same at 6m?

I’m telling you he won’t sign it. You’ll end up trading him away at the deadline instead of losing him for nothing.

CHI aren't paying up for Zucker with that package and have zero interest in Lafferty.
