Yeah, that's where I was at. A late 2nd, so/so prospect and meh dman doesn't really move the needle. If the offer isn't what GMBM wants, he's better off holding on until the deadline when Rakell becomes one of the few cheap options available.

you're not getting that for rental Rakell.
You need to come back down to earth.
At TDL you'd be lucky to get a late 1st, it depends how he plays next year. If it's the same as last year, you'll probably get a 2nd for him.

I don't think this team is really any better than what they already have.
They need to make more drastic moves.
They should send out McCann and Matheson. They need to rethink their 3rd line and LD.

I disagree if traded before the expansion allows us to protect 7/3 and not lose anyone of value really

so we can't get a good backup goalie for 1 year because of things he did in like I think 2016. Worst comes to worse we send him on waivers and only have 100k towards the cap if he isn't claimed. Atleast we get picks for a player we likely lose in the expansion

we can absolutely not get a good backup because he beat up his girlfriend, and it doesnt matter if it was 5, 10, or 30 years ago. Bobby Hull beat up his wife like 50 years ago and he's still a giant POS and an embarrassment to the game.
