Elliotte Friedman said "There's are a couple of teams really looking for D. New Jersey absolutely is. They're looking to add something to the blue line"

The 2 defensemen that are staying for sure are Smith and Severson. Subban is most likely going to stay and get dealt at the deadline

I think there is definitely a fit for Dumba here. If we decide to keep him, Soucy is likely available.

I think you've hit it with the Edmonton one. Bouchard likely taking over for Barrie and rumours are a deal is in place with Larsson that will be inked after the expansion draft. Bear is penciled into the line-up next year, I don't see him as available unless there's another deal in the works to bring in a veteran top 4 RD. If for some reason the Oilers decide to bring Barrie and Larsson back, I see Bouchard as likely the odd man out as he brings a similar skill set as Barrie and having 2/3 RHD being pure offensive specialists could mean trouble when you need to lock down a game.

I can assure you there is almost 0 chance Marino would get traded to the devils. Being a divisional rival, it’d have to be an absolute massive overpay. The only reason they’d sell Pettersson differently is because they have too many LD as it is and would be more willing to deal Petty or Matheson. Preferably Matheson.

I think I'd rather have Boqvist. Seems like that would be a solid deal for both sides.

I think Boqvist is more reasonable instead of Zacha

1. Boqvist is expansion exempt and on ELC. Zacha isn't expansion exempt and the Wild might not be able to afford Zacha after next year
2. Both Zacha and Boqvist are better as wingers but Boqvist would be the better center option
3. Devils prefer to keep Zacha over Boqvist

Boqvist+Islanders 1st would be a fair price
