I’d be hesitant to trade Kaliyev he will be a threat in the NHL. 30-40 goal potential is hard to trade.

I’ve loved trade concepts with Sekera being retained but nobody likes that. So I thought I’d have to send more value for the retention

The thing with LA is that Sergachev is going to be a future top defender. You will have to send out a lot for him

I don't think that's close to what we'd be willing to offer for Mikhail Sergachev. Plus, if they have to sell MS because they have cap problems, that deal doesn't save them much money.
I would seriously consider giving Tampa some package including either Alex Turcotte or our 2021 first. And if Tampa asked for both (but nothing more), I'd seriously consider that.

That is definitely something that would be good for both teams

Wanted to add I think your trades look really good. Agree with others about Sergachev. I don't think Tampa move him unless an offer blows them away. They have a bunch of forwards I think they'd move first.

I think that this LA offer should blow them away. Kaliyev is a good prospect, Määtta is a solid defender, and Brown can still score (along with a 2nd being in there). I saw someone else offer Turcotte and LA’s first for Sergachev

    Totally agree with EsoYeezus69.

Dallas accepts and we already sent all the paperwork to the NHL. You just need to sign!

Johnson, Palat, Killorn, and Gourde would all go before Sergachev (in that order likley). We have plenty of depth and young prospects at forward who can step in like Joseph, Stephens, Barre-Boulet, Katchouk, and Raddysh. On defense, we have hardly any young depth besides Cal Foote who plays on the right side. This makes me believe guys like Sergachev, Cernak, and McDonagh will absolutely not be moved this offseason.

Oh I love sergachev and he would be a fantastic get for LA. But trading Kaliyev I’m not sure about.

In reality the trade looks good
