    It brings me so much joy to see rangers fans OS pelech after calling him overrated the entire season. I think pelech will be signed before the expansion draft.

    I find the assumption that an offersheet will never happen because of retaliation to be laughable. Its not a realistic threat, even less realistic than a successful offersheet being executed in the first place. Like oh you poached a player so im gonna do something wildly outside of my plans to poach a player back? Thinking it through, any GM that doesnt offersheet because of that fear is not smart. In the case of Fox, he literally forced his way to the Rangers through 2 teams and you think he is just gonna sign with the Islanders for kicks?

    I mean Pelech is a sick player. Your entire team is an overated bunch of bums outside of like Barzal and Pelech, and if Tristan Jarry wasnt the worst goalie in the league, no one is even talking about the Islanders for the next 8 months. But Pelech is awesome and would instantly make the NYR blueline elite.

    Answered above. Also Lou wouldnt have the draft picks to make more than one offersheet over a multi year period work. Its not like there is no compensation invoived. Its just the laziest response to why GM's dont offersheet. Any GM thats just scared of a retaliatory offer sheet is a fool. If you are forcing your opponents into rash moves, thats a good thing...

    Eberle, Beauvillier, and Pulock are overrated?

    If the Pens wanted to win they should have invested in a better goalie 🤷🏼‍♂️

    Right now, with the team above, you are above the salary cap ceiling.
    The Islanders will have Boychuk, Hickey, Leddy, Pulock, Clutterbuck, Komarov, Johnston coming off the books.

    Fox grew up on Long Island. Its not a stretch to think he'd sign there.

    But if not Fox, they'd have to shed salary somewhere if they want Zibanejad, Strome, Fox, Kakko, Kravtsov all back.

    Im talking about how the Rangers can afford this long term (they can't). Other GMs can easily OS some of the Rangers young players since the Rangers won't have cap space
