I get it take advantage of the new guy who has zero management experience in the GM role.... but this is just filthy and not in the good way.

Logan Brown has yet to break into the NHL and probably will never be better than an injury call up.... Then you add Dacord who is a marginal NHL goalie at best I already have that with Dustin Tokarski... you throw me two second round picks for the following:

A #2 Overall Pick who has demonstrated that he can play Center and Wing who is unquestionably a Top 3 or 6 Forward that just produces and produces and produces. He is willing to get dirty on the PP and score the tough goals. Has an hockey IQ off the charts who is still team controlled salary wise.....

Really that was the best you could offer the Sabres.....
