Underwhelming return for 4th OA, Devils'd never do that. The only way Devils move that pick is for trading down a couple of spots but I really don't see that happening either.

Love the idea of that trade with Merkley being a very similar level prospect as the 3-9 of this draft but I reckon the Devils could get more

Especially from a team who needs Wallsdedt

Looking at you Buffalo 👀

Rangers don’t need a 30 year old winger on an expensive deal

I am guessing the trade would be 4th overall for Merkley + 7th overall.
That would assign Merkley an early-to-mid 2nd round value.
Which sounds about right.

I think he meant 4th for Merkley and 7th.
From the comment, “gives you young forward and Wallstedt”.
Am guessing he meant, young Dman (Merkley) and 7th overall (Wallstedt).

That makes sense
If we get Pick 7, we could get whoever is left of Power, Beniers, Eklund, Guenther, Hughes, Clarke, Edvinsson

Rangers have no need for Kane and adding DeAngelo for salary relief doesn’t help us that much because we can just buy him out
