I think that’s a pretty realistic trade for Jones. Seems like a lot after the player already said he wants out but it keeps him from going to UFA and gives the jackets a C for the future, plus a chance to get another or replace the D with a solid prospect this year. Win-win

The Defencemen are horrible. You can probably sign someone cheaper then Henrique in FA and sign a few great defenceman.

Well I dont really think they are trying to win now but I could see what you are getting at, but also outside of Montour and Del Zotto the D is pretty young.
