We are talking about a player whose team doesn't want to resign him. Not much leverage there. If they get a 2nd I will be shocked.

Things can change. Do you not remember when Jesse Puljujarvi demanded a trade out of Edmonton and said he would never play for them again? What I'm saying is that just because it seems unlikely Arizona wants to re-sign him, they could very easily change their mind. And even if they don't want to re-sign him, that doesn't really lower his trade value that much. And they do have leverage because there's going to be so much interest in him.

Tatar's value is based off of Lee, Gallagher, Kreider, Nyquist, Dadonov and Eberle contracts so laugh all you want but his value is spot on. Valuing Tatar at 3.25 is hilariously ridiculous! Even Grandlund of the Preds gets 3.75 Mil and Tatar is the better player.

No thanks on the TBL deal - that's horrible value for taking $5M+ for 4 years off their hands!
