Don't see why Buffalo would trade Dahlin. Not enough value to pull in both guys. Quantity > Quality.

Dahlin isn't available, if he was, this wouldn't be close. Better off looking at just reinhart

I do agree with what you are saying. However, it comes down to what Buffalo is trying to do. They can select a top quality defenseman in the draft with the Kings 8th overall pick that may become as good or better than Dahlin in few years. Bufallo seems like they're starting to rebuild anyways. A trade like this may not happen, but if this exact trade somehow happened I would not be surprised.

Buffalo is not starting another rebuild so much as continuing the one they already have been doing. Since they haven’t actually gotten anywhere you can’t say they built anything yet. That said, trading Dahlin is not how you get better. It would be a firing worthy offense for Kevyn Adams to agree to this trade.

Detroit has absolutely no interest in Määttä. He was awful 3yrs ago when Pittsburgh fans were trying to force him on Detroit and he isn't any better now.
