There's no way after Nylander scoring at almost a goal a game pace in the playoffs and him making 7m a year AAV the Leafs trade him. You would have to have blackmail leverage on Dubas and Shanahan. They both said Nylander would be that player, they aren't going to trade him now that he's proven them right. You would have an easier time trying to get Marner. I doubt they want to trade Marner but I definitely think there's a scenario where they do. A ton of Leafs fans would riot and burn the SBC to the ground if they traded the one guy who played like a star in the playoffs.
Edit: especially when that player is the cheapest of the big three.
