a 4th for the Keith Neal swap??? That's $11.5M in salary for a guy that's a regular healthy scratch vs $3.6M in salary for a guy that will be on the 2nd pair and still play 20 min a game. That's a tough pill to take.

In general, I'm not convinced De Haan is taken by Seattle. That obviously does us a ton of favors but there are better defenders to be taken by Seattle. My guess is Gaudette.

Other thoughts, are Hagel and Hinostroza interchangable? We all love Hagel's motor but Hinostroza showed chemistry with Kubalik last year.

I agree with you on Seattle/DeHaan. WAY too many good Dmen out there for Seattle the take DeHaan. It could be Gaudette. I tend to think it'll be Kampf. Seattle should be looking for specific role players to fill out their roster.

The EDM makes no sense. Keith is still currently one of the Hawks best 2 defenseman. Why would you trade him for a cap dump?
