Nashville fans overvalued him by a lot. Fair deal. Kings had a slight edge if I had to pick

Arvidsson's game has declined precipitously over the last couple seasons. But, his high SOG suggest he could be a bounce back candidate. Overall, I think this is a pretty fair deal for both sides with The LAK getting a slight edge b/c of Victor's relatively low AAV. Nice trade for both teams.

Players with contracts are worth virtually nothing in the dead cap era, it's so weird to see. Arvidsson is a really good 2nd line winger, but he's worth a lot less because of his contract (which is actually a good one)

Yup. If the cap were at $88M+ right now, which is probably where it was projected prior to the pandemic, Arvidsson would've had more value for sure.

I feel like Nashville was in a no win situation here. Arv was likely going to be exposed because of his cap hit and decline in production, so rather than lose him for nothing they elected to sell him off for a decent return.

This trade puzzled me on the surface from LA's perspective as I'd think they'd want to hold onto picks, but the price was probably too good for them to say no and it's not like their prospect pool is empty.

LA commits an actual hit and run.

Easily looking like a playoff spot contender.

I think Nashville could've gotten a bit more, but a decent deal for both sides

This is a fair deal. Nashville made a cap dump and got a few picks while LA got a good player.
