He did quite a bit this year. Felt like he improved as the season went along (at least as far as playing the position went).

I’m always down to trade for players under 25 with upside.

One of the biggest issues with Strome this year was that his linemates changed almost every game. If you’re curious go on Evolving Hockey’s combos tables and check it out lol it’s insane.

Having to get used to get used to playing a new role with new linemates every night on top of trying to play with some consistency could not have been easy on him and I imagine it could explain some of his poor play from this season.

I would say the Hawks could just give a more grounded spot in the lineup, but with his usage last season, Toews coming back, Suter’s emergence and Eichel rumors swirling (please), the org just doesn’t seem committed to him anymore. Hope they send him someone he can succeed, he was/is one of my favorites

I wouldn’t want any three players coming back from Edmonton. Would play Beaudin and Kalynuk over Jones. Delia or a free agent over Koskinen on backup. Turris doesn’t even make the lineup.

I wouldn't either necessarily, but you have to remember that Keith has a NMC. If we were to trade him, he'd likely be picking the destination and thus, we wouldn't have a lot of leverage in trade talks.

Koskinen as a backup for a year actually might not be bad at all. He was really good a season ago and played behind a pretty poor defensive team in Edmonton last season (we aren't know for our defense either lol, but I'm expecting it to improve somewhat next season). Lank would hopefully be getting the majority of the starts anyways. Maybe if Koskinen rebounds we can trade him at the deadline to a team needing a goalie, who knows?

Interesting , he’s more of a playmaker right? I think he could work with beau and Nelson.

I like the NYI trade however not a taker on the EDM trade. Great concept for the NYI trade.

I feel Z will get a better pick in return if he is shipped out.

Any trade with Keith will be interesting. He likely has a destination in mind, so we might have a hard time getting back what we "want," in any case. I don't mind this package because cap space isn't really a concern anymore, I kinda like Caleb Jones and Koskinen could be a decent bounceback candidate, at least as a backup/1B with Lank. Obviously there are a number of destinations in "Western Canada" and "the Pacific Northwest," so who knows where he'll end up. But Edmonton makes the most sense to me.

And then for Zadorov, I posted this and then forgot to do something with him lol so I went back and just sent him to the first team I saw for a late pick. Honestly, he was fine last year and wouldn't mind keeping him. But if he actually wants $5.85 million over 5/6 years like was reported, I want nothing to do with that. I'm not really sure what's going to happen this offseason so we took the easy route

I would say so. Also can be a decent net-front presence on the power play or at even strength. Jack of all trades, master of none type. But that doesn't mean he isn't/can't be effective.
