I'd rather have Stone at 800k than Ceci at 1.5 mill. If Monahan waives that could happen. Rittch didn't want to resign here so we traded him

I would change that 1st rounder in 2022 to this years' 12 OA. Just put it at 2022 to see if it would work.

I think the Sabres take the trade. I'm guessing, 100% guessing, Eichel wouldn't pass a physical and will need neck surgery...

Also can't imagine Flames move both Zary and Pelletier, ELC contracts are going to be very important in the coming yearsif adding a 10M contract

I would say that Monahan's no trade clause probably prevents him from being part of this trade. I also second the idea that this year‘s first round pick would have to be part of the deal. Dealing for futures that are more than a year away isn’t going to inspire anyone that this team will be anything other than god-awful for another 3-5 years as is.

He's not having the surgery, it's his way of finding leverage to force a move
