Hm so you're saying Keith has 0 trade value rn?

😕

That trade computes to that ultimately

The deal has no value to CHI as Laggesson has not interest to us. We have Vlasic in the pipeline ready to sign his deal next year who has the size and will be a shutdown D man.

Being the 2nd worst defender in the league in xGF% doesn’t provide value.
Keith cannot me bought out, has to be protected in expansion, the guys a dud,
An already poor Blackhawks team was worse with him on the ice

Keith carries no value either so it adds up

Boston needs an LD1 and a big nasty LD. Bear is neither. Boston does not need RD, which Bear is. Rather just keep JD.

Edmonton fans need to stop trading bear to us. We don't need him.

Oilers the team wanting vet D presence, he ticks the box well and truly. We are happy to keep Keith, but respectfully will look to see if there is a suitable trade partner.

The Oilers aren’t taking Keith at the full cap hit, the Hawks will need to take money back, Koskinen’s contract only has one yr left making it easily bought out, in this type of deal Edmonton also not including picks or prospects, Hawks gain over 4 mil in cap

I agree we may have to look at taking cap back if a trade is found but I'm hoping its a mutually beneficial deal not 1 sided.

I think the only benefit the Hawks will get is cap space, the benefit of that cap space could be Dougie Hamilton

If SEA want him as their first captain we could gain a lot more space but I don't think its the organisation thats pushing the move.

I agree I believe Keith is the one pushing the Hawks to move him, the problem all 3 western Canadian teams have cap constraints, Seattle makes the most sense from a cap standpoint

Seen the local press in EDM with a suggestion of Jones + Turris for Keith. I think you would agree that I hope that isn't the case.

Yes not a fan, Turris only has a yr left on his deal, so your eating Keith’s full cap hit yr two, big NO from me
Jones I’m not a fan of so no lose there, rumour is they want Jones to entice his brother to sign a extension
