Why does everyone think Vancouver wants to pay so much to dump Eriksson? His contract is over with after next season so they can bury him and keep there picks.

I mean is that really too much? I would downgrading by about 6 a pick and giving a 2nd too much to ask for 9 million dollars in Cap space. For a team with all it's players at their core, and with 2 of their top 6 forwards UFAs in 2 years
